I'm thinking it was a mistake in the instacart app. I shopped a Costco order once that had bbq ribs by the pound, $5.68/lb I believe. The customer wanted around 5 lbs (app default) which should have cost around $30 but the app only prompted for a scan of the barcode and did not ask for a weight so the customer was getting 4.7 lbs of ribs for $5.68 and Costco was charging 4.7 x $5.68 = $26.70!!She went from earning an average of more than $1,270 per week to $690 per week, while working the same total hours, screenshots and weekly earnings reports show. Hello all. Today I messed up and got scammed on my Instacart shopper account. If you are an Instacart shopper I wanted to post this out there so others don't get scammed. I took an Instacart order and they said they needed to give their wife my phone number because she didn't have access to their account and he was in a business meeting.It's not a scam, they pay more for the items but when it comes to tips it is really a 50/50 because some costumers have a fixed tip or a percentage of what they spend. 4.
